Starting Position
- grasp a dumbbell or an alternative aid such as a filled backpack with both hands
- hold the aid with stretched out arms in shoulder-height
- the legs are slightly bent and hip width opened
- the back is straight and the head the extension of the spine
Correct Execution
- brace the abs and turn to one side as much as you can
- rotate the opposite foot with the motion
- invert the movement and rotate to the other side
- repeat the exercise several times slower or faster for an effective cardio workout
