General and Specifics

Starting Position

  • sit down on a chair or a table, so that the backs of the knees touch the edge of the seat area
  • let the lower legs hang down
  • if you sit on a chair, stretch out the legs a bit, so that the feet do not touch the ground
  • your partner knees in front of you and encompasses your ankles

Correct Execution

  • stretch out the legs against the resistance of your partner, until the the legs are parallel to the ground
  • hold the tension for a moment
  • take some tension off the legs, so that your partner can push down your legs into the starting position
  • stretch the legs again
  • do several reps

tips for the workout

  • for a bigger resistance, your partner can grasp one of your ankles with both hands
  • this trains the thigh even more (do the same number of reps for a consistent workout)
