Starting PositionExecution

Starting Position

  • the legs are hip width open
  • your knees are slightly bent
  • hold the back straight while you bring the hands together behind your bottom
  • head up and in extension to the spine

Correct Execution

  • stretch out the arms almost completely and guide the hands up as high as possible
  • the arms move away from the body
  • do not tilt the upper body forward
  • hold the position for 15-20 seconds
