Starting PositionExecution

Starting Position

  • grasp a dumbbell or an alternative aid such as a filled backpack with both hands
  • hold the aid with stretched out arms in shoulder-height
  • the legs are slightly bent and hip width opened
  • the back is straight and the head the extension of the spine

Correct Execution

  • brace the abs and turn to one side as much as you can
  • rotate the opposite foot with the motion
  • invert the movement and rotate to the other side
  • repeat the exercise several times slower or faster for an effective cardio workout
